Congratulations on your new watch!

Thank you for choosing us!

We are trying to make conscious environmental choices and have therefore chosen to digitize the manual through a QR code.

Here you will find answers to some of the most common questions about your watch.

Setting the date / Time:

Your watch has a screw-down crown. This means that the first step is to unscrew the crown to Position (0).

POSITION (0) - WINDING THE MOVEMENT: Once the crown is unscrewed, you can manually wind the movement by turning it upwards.

POSITION (1) - SETTING THE TIME:
When the crown is unscrewed, pull it all the way out to position (1) to set the time.

Note: Remember to push the crown back to Position (0) and screw it in again when you are finished.

Setting the date / Time:

The links in your bracelet are secured with small screws.

To remove or add links, you’ll need a small flathead screwdriver of the correct width.

Choose the right size screwdriver — it must not be too wide or too narrow, as the wrong size can damage the screws.

Unscrew the link screws carefully, then remove or add links as needed.

Tighten all screws firmly once the bracelet is reassembled.

We recommend checking the screws every few months, as they may loosen over time due to vibration and normal wrist movement.

Optional: Secure the screws with Loctite.
If you want added security after finding the correct bracelet length, you may apply a low-strength threadlocker. We recommend Loctite 222 (low strength).

If you don’t have the proper tools or feel unsure, we recommend visiting your nearest jeweler or watchmaker to have the bracelet adjusted.

Change strap

The bracelet has quick-release spring bars, making it easy to remove without any tools. Press both pins toward the center while gently pulling the bracelet away from the case to slide it off.

USE, MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY

USE

To do this, you need to screw the crown up - but not pull it out further - so that it is in position (0). Now you can rotate the crown "clockwise" (upwards) 30-40 times to wind up the movement (you should feel some resistance).

The watch is water-resistant to 20 ATM (200 meters), making it suitable for swimming, showering, snorkeling and diving. For the water resistance to remain effective, the screw-down crown must always be fully tightened — not only before water exposure, but at all times. A loose crown can allow water or moisture from the air to enter the case, and it may also be damaged if it catches on clothing or equipment. Never operate the crown when the watch is wet or underwater, and check occasionally to ensure it remains securely tightened.

Water or moisture damage caused by an improperly tightened crown is not covered under warranty.

MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY

Automatic watches can become inaccurate due to insufficient lubrication or wear and tear over time. It will keep accurate time if you do the following:

  • Protect the watch from falls and shocks. Avoid losing the watch or exposing it to external shocks. Since an automatic movement consists of many parts, the shock could cause damage to the movement and parts. The watch's exterior may also be damaged.
  • Avoid placing the watch near magnetic fields. Automatic watches will be disrupted if they are magnetized because they are powered by metal parts. If the watch is magnetized, it will lose accuracy.
  • Have an authorized watch service technician clean, adjust the lubrication and re-certify the water seal every 3 to 5 years.

Warranty period: Two years from date of purchase.

This warranty covers all manufacturing defects on the watch itself (movement, watch case, glass).

The warranty does not cover:

- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)

- Aesthetic changes that occur during normal wear and aging (scratches, etc. on; the watch case and / or the glass, changing the color of the bracelet, or peeling of the plating)

To make a warranty claim fill in the contact form on the page Contact Us, or by sending an e-mail to "post@aigi.no".

You must provide your name, address and order number and a detailed description of the problem. The cost associated with the return is paid by us if you follow our procedures.
