The Gruvebus Collection pays tribute to a century of Arctic mining.
Each 40 mm dive watch is forged in 316 L steel, fired with high-carbon anthracite from Svalbard’s Mine 7 and salt-quenched to roughly 46 HRC—twice the scratch resistance of ordinary stainless.
The dial carries a 3-D coal imprint taken from Mine 3; Swiss Trigalight GTLS tubes and Super-LumiNova® BGW9 keep the watch legible long after the lights go out.
A Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement beats inside, guarded by a box-shaped sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown for 20 ATM / 200 m water resistance.
The case-back features a deep relief of Longyearbyen’s iconic Gruvebus statue—reproduced with permission from sculptor Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik—honouring miners worldwide.
