A limited unit-edition automatic, designed from the ground up for No.1 Space Surveillance Unit — built for those who watch what most never see.
Every detail on the deep black dial carries a meaning only the unit will recognise: the gold unit crest at twelve, the motto "Ever Watchful" where "Automatic" normally sits, a gold orbital ring with pinpoint markers, and the satellite seconds hand carried from our ground-station heritage.
The sapphire display caseback is engraved with the Space Surveillance Telescope and C-band radar at Exmouth, framed by the Southern Cross, Celestial South Pole and Pointers.

How the order works
Once the order window closes, we produce exactly the number of watches ordered — with no surplus and no reruns. Production takes approximately 14–16 weeks from the close of the order window. Once completed, your timepiece will be shipped directly to your door.

We ship with DHL Express for fast, reliable doorstep delivery straight from our warehouse in Norway.
Every ÁIGI is covered by a two-year international warranty against manufacturing and movement faults.

We are a Norwegian watch brand that was started in 2017 by three Norwegian watch enthusiasts.
For us, Norway is defined in many ways by the presence or absence of light in spectacular nature. Many of our dials and designs are therefore inspired by the many and unique lighting conditions you can experience above the arctic circle, and we allow ourselves to be fascinated by how these in their own way create an experience of time.
We combine quality components and design in watches that we hope will be with you for a long time to come. Our goal is to make watches in quality materials at an unbeatable price that have a finish normally only found in higher price ranges. We design and do all the development in Norway, while the production takes place abroad. We only source high-quality components and can mention, among other things, surgical grade stainless steel and scratch-resistant sapphire glass with anti-reflection coating on the inside. Miyota, Seiko or Sellita movements respectively from Japan or Switzerland. Swiss Super-LumiNova® and full-grain leather from Italy or Horween leather from Chicago in the USA.
The caseback
A view into the movement
Turn the watch over and a sapphire display caseback opens onto the Miyota 9039, visible and in motion. The engraved ring frames it with each watch's own details: 1SSU, the Miyota 9039 calibre, automatic, 100 m, your serial — No. XX / XX — and your personal engraving.
The site, in miniature
Around the movement we've engraved 1SSU's own ground: the Space Surveillance Telescope and the C-band radar at Exmouth, drawn in fine line-work. The kind of detail that's invisible to anyone outside the unit and instantly readable to anyone in it.
The southern sky
Alongside sits a sky guide — the Southern Cross with the Celestial South Pole and the Pointers. The reference frame the unit works against, quietly worked into steel.
The movement
Miyota 9039
Inside is the Miyota 9039, a slim automatic from Miyota's premium 90-series — 28,800 vph, 24 jewels, a ~42-hour power reserve, with hacking seconds and hand-winding. A quiet, reliable workhorse that keeps good time and asks for nothing.
It winds itself
The movement winds from the motion of your wrist, through the rotor turning behind the caseback. Wear it daily and it runs on its own; set it down and it holds charge for around 42 hours. No battery, ever.
Slim by design
The 90-series is thin, which let us build a genuinely slim field case that sits close to the wrist and slides under a cuff — presence without bulk.

It was designed for No.1 Space Surveillance Unit — current and former members, and the people who work alongside them. It's offered to the unit through a single production run.
Yes — 100 m / 10 ATM with a screw-down crown. Swimming, showering and everyday water exposure are well within its rating, but it is not intended for scuba diving or high-pressure water activities. Two simple rules keep it watertight: always make sure the crown is fully screwed down before the watch goes near water, and never pull out or operate the crown when the watch is wet or in damp, humid conditions — only set the time when it's dry.

Since this is a custom order, the watch cannot be exchanged or returned. However, it can certainly be sent back for repair if any issues arise.
